THE 5PS HATRED MANAGEMENT

THE 5PS HATRED MANAGEMENT

By Benjamin Pulle Niriwa, 28.11.2021

Knowing what causes hatred is not worth it, if it cannot be managed effectively! One of the best ways of managing hatred is by using the Five Interconnected Ps of Life: “Prayer, Preparation, Patience, Praises, and PEACE” (Niriwa, 2021). Praying to God for what one wants in life, does not only gives him/her some hope for a better future; it reduces the temptation to hate others for what they have that he/she does not have.

Nothing manages hatred in a true believer than prayers! So, when Jesus was teaching his disciples how to pray, forgiveness was not left out (Luke., 11:2-4. KJV). Preparation before prayer and prayer itself helps us to thoroughly scan through our hearts to forgive our neighbors so that we can also ask God to forgive us (Long et al., 2020; Figure 1). So daily prayers help believers to not only avoid hatred but seek for “forgiveness” (Long et al., 2020) for peace.

Patience in life helps believers to have it easy with others, see life on earth as a journey and have healthy completions devoid of hatred or sabotage. Your maturity in faith is not determined by how long or well you can pray but how nice you behave toward your neighbor(s) as you patiently wait upon God to answer your prayer(s). The 4th P is the thanksgiving prayer that one offers depending on his/her strength, when his/her prayer(s) is/are answered. This is mostly a period of happiness with an automatic influx of peace (the 5th P).

You cannot send your thanksgiving offerings before the altar of God with the intention to go home and deal with him/her (1Corinthians, 11:16-20. KJV; Matthew., 5:22-26. KJV). This is why the 4th P is also useful in helping one to do away with hatred. But in all, one needs a peaceful environment to be able to apply the first 4Ps. Just like the interdependence of life, each of the 5Ps needs each other for effective results.

Example, you need patience to prepare and pray to or praise God; this is followed by peace after answered prayer(s). All prayers are answered: there is no an answered prayer! The secrete of detecting answered prayers is that, it will be difficult to see that your prayer is answered, is you leave out the will of God in your prayer. As we prepare to be victoriously favored into the Special Month of Love, let us all learn how to manage anger and hatred for PEACE. Thank you for Reading!
